Parking Info

Ypsilanti has provided ready access to free parking during our public events, and almost all of our private parties.

South Huron Parking Lot

In general, we recommend that our guests use the South Huron parking lot, which contains a large number of parking spots and has the easiest access to our studio. This lot has a mix of 2 Hour spots, 4 Hours spots, and Permit only parking, so please pay attention to the signage IF you are parking on the weekdays before 6 PM.  After 6 PM or all day on weekends, the spots are FREE to park in.

Handicap parking is available at the West entrance to the South Huron parking lot.

Street-side Parking

There are parking meters located on the South side of Washington St, as well as Michigan Ave. After 6 PM on weekdays, and all day on weekends, these meters are FREE. However, please pay attention to any handicap parking restrictions.

There is a Handicap parking spot directly in front of the studio on S Washington St.

North Adams & North Huron Parking Lot

While not as convenient as the South Huron lot, the North Adams & North Huron lots are only 2 blocks from the studio. These are convenient backup lots for guest parking, and are also FREE to park at after 6 PM on weekdays, and all day on weekends.

North Washington Lot

Unlike the other downtown Ypsilanti parking lots, the North Washington lot is composed entirely of parking meters. However, like the rest of Ypsilanti’s parking system, these spots are all FREE to park at after 6 PM on weekdays, and all day on weekends.
